Description
This is a historical Persian stamp (from then Persia, present Iran) issued circa 1885–1889 with the inscription “POSTE Persane” and the value 5 Shahi (purple/violet color).
Motif: Shows the coat of arms of Persia with a crown, laurel wreath and calligraphy, as well as the number "5" in the lower left corner.Origin: Printed in France in the Qajar dynasty under Naser al-Din Shah Qajar.Stand: It is a used (cancelled) copy with a black stamp.
